To commemorate the dearly departed Johnny_C Twitter, I've decided to go through it for the first time in a while. It's very interesting from a post-canonical perspective?

There were whispers over the years of JTHM-themed projects that went into production and then got halted, like the Titmouse stuff. That, and I know Jhonen's tried to re-write some scenes from the original comics. It's a neat little look into what a post-Issue #7 JTHM could've looked like a decade ago. I like being able to see the slight characterization differences between this and Johnny in the comics, even if probably none of this is canon.

Johnny's evidently more upbeat, and has learned to take himself less seriously. However, most interesting is his fixation with ghosts that's found throughout the entire account, and demons, those too.

My personal headcanon is that becoming a wastelock, and being able to escape from that, leaves you with some kind of lingering connection to the paranormal. I'd love to make an AU of Johnny chatting up all the ghosts infesting his flat like cockaroaches. Maybe a future installment of some kind would've leaned into this more, it makes sense given the direction of Squee, but we're probably never getting whatever might've been planned. It's also probably just his left-unsaid schizophrenia, but I digress.

There's mentions of other voices, and demonic infestations happening in his head. I'd like to imagine he just has a revolving door of various manifestations living there now, though not nearly as malignant as Psychodoughboy or Mr. Eff. As if he's just some kinda fucked up conduit for anything under the sun.

[I'M ASSUMING THIS IS SATAN BECAUSE SURELY HE'D RECOGNIZE HIM?] He's got a gateway into Satan's spice cabinet, and has apparently hit him in the crotch, so maybe they're staying in touch? I always did wish that we got to see more of them in the comics... I've already made a post about their dynamic, but it's always been extremely interesting to me, and criminally underutilized.
